Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder than produces OCD symptoms like repeated actions (compulsions), obsessive thoughts and anxiety. The compulsive behavior of OCD—such as hoarding, counting and checking behaviors—are often done to prevent obsessive thoughts or make them go away. OCD treatment can include support groups, therapy and antidepressant medications.
