Qi Gong (pronounced “chee-goong”) is a traditional Chinese movement exercise similar to Tai chi. It involves different types of movements from Tai chi and does not have one set order. But the goal of both is to balance or enhance the flow of energy (qi or chi) through the body. It is based on the concept that illness occurs when energy pathways are blocked or unbalanced.
