Dark Chocolate: Yes, the news is good—again.

A review of 10 previous studies confirms that the cocoa in dark chocolate is linked to lower levels of total and LDL (bad) cholesterol. The thought is the flavanols in dark chocolate may make it harder for your body to absorb cholesterol. Plus, the stearic acid that makes up more than half of the saturated fat in chocolate doesn’t seem to increase LDL cholesterol.
