In addition to a major renovation to our Outpatient
Services Center, we also introduced VNUS Closure
procedure to treat varicose veins; PillCam® endoscopy,
an advanced diagnostic technology for identifying
gastrointestinal disorders. The hospital was designated
a Primary Stroke Service Facility by the Massachusetts
Department of Health. In the fall of 2006, we also
completed a $13 million medical office building adjacent
to the hospital, featuring 15 medical specialties and
